The State’s Illinois WorkNet Career Center System was created in response to our residents who were directly effected by the increase of unemployment throughout our nation. They now provide funds to address the employment training needs of our residents as well as our youth.

The on-site Illinois WorkNet comprehensive workforce system provides employment/career seekers, on a non-discriminatory basis, access to the information and services they need to manage their career and helps businesses find skilled, motivated workers.

The WSTC in conjunction with the on-site Illinois WorkNet system is user friendly facility which is located in Lake County, Illinois which provide employment/career seekers, training and employer access and services for qualified seekers.

If you are a dislocated adult worker or 18 years of age or older, you can use the WorkforceSkills™ Training Center for employment readiness training, get help on a resume, enhance your education and employment/career skills. We also provide employment training services for youth starting at age 14 as well.
